Ghostly Me Game Review

Developer: PPLLAAYY Games
Genre: Action, Platform

Game Review
This is one of the most beautiful games I have played this week and I applaud the game for the simple creativity. Ghostly Me is a simple action platformer by Ppllaayy Games, the creator of Nuclear Plant series. See, you are a small and innocent-looking ghost in a huge world of the abstract. A very abstract environment, even your shadow is always gliding behind you.

Follow him to investigate the incredible hypnotic world. On the every level, you are supposed to find a mysterious portal somewhere, which will then take you to the next level. Falling into the vividly colored water or touching any formations made of rotating little squares, you die. They are always placed in your way but you have a trick up your sleeve and that's to "slow down time" effect, which lasts as long as you hold down the single keystroke. Dodge any incoming projectiles and form a white pixel trail behind you. You can use the white pixel trail to your advantage and remove any colored pixel formations just by intercepting them deliberately. This may sound a little tricky but you will get it after playing it.

In my conclusion, I find this flash game pretty, simple and playable. The feeling of "abstraction" was done well with both graphics and monologues. Gameplay wise... I personally don't care about my score after failing badly at some levels; I think a lot will feel the same way too because my final score was -1173. Pretty fun action platformer all in all. ^^

ButtonX20 Game Review & Walkthrough Guide

ButtonX20
ButtonX20 Button X20 Logo

Play Online: ButtonX20
Developer: NinjaDoodle
Genre: Platform, Puzzle

Game Review
Cute, cute, cute! ButtonX20 is an interesting puzzle and platform flash game in pixel style. Playing as a yellow ninja, use the arrow to guide him through all 20 puzzle rooms. Deactivate the laser and get the key by pressing a big red button. Sound easy, right?

I have seen the concept before. The whole idea was similar to "This Is The Only Level" with repeating the same level over and over but with different ways to complete it. Simply put, all levels with the same map, objective and game mechanics changes slightly between each level. There are only so many variations that can be done in this kind of setup. A couple of them felt familiar, but there were some really creative ones as well such as level 19. It was really nicely executed, that's what I felt.

Very engaging little puzzle solver. Although I agree the controls aren't perfect, I was able to finish the entire game, so it's really not that hard to adjust to the controls. Overall, I find this flash game a nice distraction from a busy day at the desk. For those having problems, the level's title is the hint of that level. A little thinking and observation is all you need to solve them. :)

ButtonX20 Guide
Solution to ButtonX20
Level 1
- Use the arrow keys and jump on top of the button.
- Once the laser is de-activated, collect the key and the exit through the door.

Level 2
- Jump on the button until it goes all the way down.

Level 3
- Stand and wait on top of the button to weigh it down.

Level 4
- The current button is faulty, so push it out of the screen to the left and once you get a new one jump on it.

Level 5
- Jump just before the button appears in order to land on top.

Level 6
- Jump on the button until the laser fades out.

Level 7
- Jump on the buttons in the order they flash.

Level 8:
- Jump on the slightly darker block on the floor to fall down.
- When the spikes retract, push the block along and headbutt the button on the ceiling.
- Being careful to avoid the spikes by resting on the block, push it all the way to the right and make your way up.
- Walk left through the corridor and fall down the middle to collect the key.

Level 9
- Click on the button using your mouse.

Level 10
- Push the button to the left wall, then jump onto the platform above it, to make it fall onto the button.

Level 11
- Jump from higher ground to make the room shake and to make the button drop to the ground. (This will take 3 goes)

Level 12
- Walking left shows you where the button is, but you can’t press it.
- You have to walk right and fall down, then quickly jump left and up over the platforms before they disappear.

Level 13
- After pressing the button, you will need to head butt the laser guns on each side to help break them.

Level 14
- Jump onto the button from the low platform.
- This will make you bounce higher to make it to the higher platform.
- Jump onto the button from the high platform and reach for the key.

Level 15
- Jump on the button, then walk half way between it and the left wall.
- Jump up to reveal a hidden platform.
- Jump up again, then far right and up again, revealing 3 more platforms as you go.

Level 16
- Jump up to the right and push the disjointed block.
- When you’re in the next room, jump on every second block as they will disappear and you need to leave yourself a way to get back.

Level 17
- The hint is in the level name.
- Press the button and don’t worry that the laser doesn’t disappear, as it’s only an illusion.

Level 18
- Jump on the button, then use the mouse to drag the key to the Yellow Ninja.

Level 19
- Jump on the button to make the laser flash.
- Make your way to one of the highest platforms and with the right timing, jump through the gap, pausing the game (with P) as soon as you touch the key.
- The laser won’t pause and you will need to un-pause (with P), at the right time to drop through the gap again.

Level 20
- Jump on the button and make your way the the top-right platform.
- Above the right laser gun is a secret passage you need to walk through.
- Once you’re in the next room, jump on the pillars making sure you leave yourself a way to come back. (They move down each time you touch them)

Bearbarians Game Review & Walkthrough Guide

Play Online: Bearbarians
Developer: Jay Armstrong
Genre: Action, Platform

Game Review
I knew I had to play this game called Bearbarians (wonder why not call it Barbearians instead), after seeing the cute thumbnail featured on the main page of Kongregate. My senses tell me it is going to be an outstanding flash game and it really is. Guys, get ready and brace yourself with some blood-soaked 2D arena battle! This one is pretty solid one. ^^

In the game, your village has been destroyed. As the surviving hero of the land of Bearbaria, you have to rebuild your team and defeat your enemies to become the ultimate warrior. My first impression in the tutorial is probably like, "only axes and swords. Erm, ok." As I progress deeper, I slowly realize I have a pistol in my pocket. Wait… Did I say bears with sword and pistol? What an awesome combination! Things escalated quickly just like how I started to enjoy the game.

In all battles, you get to choose to play a class out of four. Each of those four character types have their roles to fulfill an example is medics, they are always supporting and healing your wounded bear-warriors. Or as for other roles, if you feel like it's too early to die, you can actually block incoming attacks. It's kind of silly to see animals cheerfully beating the stuffing out of each other. It makes me sad when I stab smiling bears to death with a rusty knife but the whole idea is to survive and kill in modes like team deathmatch and team survival.

The fact that Bearbarians involve shooting/cutting attacks, this mean it requires more than just tapping the buttons, you really need fast reflexes to keep from constantly dying. In my honest opinion, I won't mind spending time playing it again in the future. It does have some replayability value in it; shop and customize your warriors to improve stats or for the sake of appearance. Overall, Bearbarians is pretty outstanding and addictive. Music and sound effects fit the action, the controls are pretty responsive. It will be great to have versus mode and online multiplayer mode.

Bearbarians Guide
List of Roles in Bearbarians
Scouts - Light but quick; they are armed with a melee weapon and a pistol. The first on the scene and devastating in numbers.
Brutes - Powerful tank units; slow but very strong! They wield a melee weapon and fire shotguns.
Medic - Vital support units who can heal their team mates (with the attack button) and fire a rifle.
Mage - Mystical warriors who shoot fire balls and can 'blink' teleport by pressing the block button.

Walkthrough to Bearbarians
I know it's hard to pick a dominant role in Bearbarians. Don't worry, let me break it down for you. If you like to run around shoot every once and a while but sticking mostly to melee hit and runs. Go for scout! If you want to go in and take out their entire team with mixed attacks, go for Brute. If you feel supporting your AI is the best way to win while hitting enemies from afar, definitely Medic. Lastly, if you want to be strictly ranged from any distance Mage is the best way to go.

There is a easy way to win and a not so easy win. To beat the game is super easy. Go for Mage, they are like the insta caster of doom. Remember to build a team of Brutes and Medics. Buy items that increase range on Mage and max health and melee on your team. When the game start, basically find a safe corner and start spamming. Feel threatened? Simply blink away.

This is my guide for not so easy way to win. Always play as a Brute or Scout. Keep your distance and use ranged attacks as much as possible. Shooting always seems to be the stronger attack. When the enemies charging towards you, always block first then attack. Precise timing is the key to kill. Always get better items when you level up, and remember to equip the items on your whole party, not just your main guy. Pro-Tip: Medic has greatest DPS. Equip with the highest ranged stat items, then press directional button in quick succession. The result is an overpowered machine gun blast that mows down the enemy. Of course, stick to your preferred play style, but it's fun to try.

Qoosh Game Review

Qoosh
Qoosh Logo

Play Online: Qoosh
Developer: Aethos Games
Genre: Puzzle, Platformer

Game Review
I guess I'll go ahead and review on another puzzle platformer where you play as a "test subject", being guided through a series of tests and trials by a scientist. All I know about the scientist is he is full of evil and candies.

It's a very interesting game. You play as a green blob-like character named Qoosh that has the ability to warp within a certain range. You will be entertained with a variety of different puzzles and basically you'll have to experiment your warping ability to its fullest to complete the game. For example, gaining some extra height by teleporting in mid-air or clicking on certain objects to swap places with them which prove very useful. Beware of purple zone and purple lasers, these areas disable your warp ability.

The voice acting aka the evil scientist well deserved a mention, I think. This scientist is full of evil and candy. The voice of the narrator was very well done, and it's clear the developers took the time to make sure they got just the right take for each line especially this line: "When you were born, your mother asked me if you will be a good test subject like her. I said yes... But I was only joking. You have no mother." Another epic one is this line, "Oh by the way, I can destroy you at any time for my own amusement. What. You didn't think that was funny? Oh, you probably don't have feelings." I don't know why but I just find it funny.

Awesome work, this is truly marvellous. I was expecting another portal rip off when I first discover the warping ability, to be honest, but this is quite original. The ending is kinda bit of an anti-climactic though as Qoosh got dematerialized at the end. And here I was hoping for a happy ending. Still loved it, would definitely play the sequel.

Vex Game Review

Vex

Play Online: Vex
Developer: Amazing Adam
Genre: Platform

Game Review
Let's check the dictionary on the word, Vex. The definitions of vex is made (someone) feel annoyed, frustrated, or worried. This is indeed what the flash game is trying to illustrate in their gameplay. Your only goal is to make it through various stages filled with traps that want nothing more than to see you dead and rage quit.

I would say Vex is quite a tough one by Amazing Adam. It is said to test your survivability skills in the ever-changing world of Vex. All you will need to be avoided many of the nasty obstacles that will come in your way, such as the deadly spikes, faster than light lasers, annoying bouncing Shurikens and more. It will kill you if any hit you which then send you back to the latest checkpoint flag you last checked.

Don't worry if you don't usually play platform games. Every stage has plentiful of checkpoints which is scattered throughout after every major obstacle. Typically to ensure that you won't have to restart the stage if you die however, the downside is dying costs you valuable time which adds on to your overall timing. Your timing determines what rank you get. Well, don’t be discouraged if your timing is an average of 5 mins in each stages. My timing is equally as bad as or worse than you. Speaking about platform flash games I'm the worst at it but I’m proud to admit. :)

To my surprise, the controls are pretty solid and precise. The Stickman is able to wall jump or grab ledges smoothly in every key in quick succession. All in all with a little patience and focus, I still manage to complete the game... have to do a perfect run, it will be too vexing for my fingers and brain! :O

Game Review
Imagine the next ice age has arrived and the world as we know it has peacefully frozen in time but to one naked survivor it's cold and lonely as hell! You found a kids push bike and you ride over the icy terrain collecting bubbles while avoiding various hazards like icicles and spikes.

The special feature implemented is push bike can only advance, you cannot pedal back so remembering the best route is part of the challenge. I don't mind challenges and the trial and error through the game. Dying multiple times to figure out the way to go feels pretty accomplishing.

The controls are okay. Holding back seems to slow you down for the parts where you're going too fast. The first run was not smooth, I had lots of deaths which are avoidable. In my opinion, it's not really that bad afterwards. If you play multiple times, you will notice he gets clothing. From scarf to shirt to underwear to sweater and lastly traffic cone. The developer is being creative here, why wear a traffic cone on his head instead of getting him a pants?

The game has good sound effects especially when the guy's echo "hello?!". I like it! Overall, it's a humoristic game; a nudist man cycling an undersized bike in the snow and ice. Thoroughly enjoyed it all the way.

P.S. First post of 2013, I wish you happy new year! ^^

SkullFace Game Review

Play Online: SkullFace
Developer: Greg Anims
Genre: Platform

Game Review
It has been a while since I've seen a decent action-platform flash game. Don't you just love the clearing stages flawlessly with smooth controls? Well, If you do. Skullface is the kind of game that you will enjoy and it is going to be a challenging yet rewarding adventure for you definitely!

Skullface is an action platformer largely inspired by SuperMeatBoy, N+ and Jumper, according to the developer. The game itself spans over 45 levels across 3 unique worlds. The levels have a good difficulty progression and the developer manage to replicate the feel and environment from Super Meat Boy. The level designs were excellent. Surprisingly, there are some levels which I felt slightly difficult, have induced just the right amount of frustrated but still keeping me going. The final boss level was really intense and a perfect conclusion to this awesome game. ^^

I checked out the comments and I really don't know what everyone is talking about when they mention walljumping issues. The walljumping are precise and smooth as butter. The slight downtime between landing and rolling can be a bit of a nuisance and the Jetpack is a little tough to master, but everything functions great otherwise. It took me nearly 2 hours but got all A+. I really felt victorious when I won and totally worth the effort.

SkullFace is a visually appealing platform game. It is something rare nowadays. The music is fitting and catchy, the characters are memorable and the sound effects were entertaining. Simply put, even with its imperfections, I could see Skullface being a great platform flash game.

Red Rogue Game Review

Red Rogue
Red Rogue Logo

Play Online: Red Rogue
Developer: Aaron Steed
Genre: Adventure, Platform, RPG

Game Review
Red Rogue is now available for your dungeon crawling delight, I will rate it 10 and it should not missed. It first attracted my attention with its striking color scheme; grayscale and deep red. I could best describe Red Rogue as a side scrolling roguelike flash game packed with quite a punch!

This is an astonishingly well made game. The combat can be fast paced and fiercely tactical, and the developer gives you the choice between two combat types; action RPG based or dogmatic based. Both modes are great but I will prefer action RPG more. Basically, you start off with nothing. You and your pet minion attack by shoving your opponent, you might stun monsters by chance. Combat revolves around being leveled up enough to get into a shoving match, or finding a ladder to climb up so you can stun your enemies. Due to the nature of the combat there's no jumping, but this means we get gameplay much more similar to the original Rogue.

Along the way you can pick up weapons, armor, health packs and runes from enemies you kill and treasure chests. You can use the runes to enchant your weapons and armor. The game is made to be versatile; an example is a heal rune... If you eat it, you get healed. You throw it, it heals what it hits. You cast it on armor and it heals you slowly when worn. Each action performed gives unique effects that could be beneficial or detrimental. Besides that, I love the fact you can also equip items to your pet minion and can throw items as weapons.

The atmosphere is perfect, and when combined with the soundtrack is well deserving of the horror tag. The developer has done a superb presentation in reinventing the user interface. I found it pretty intuitive and quick to navigate. Like I said, Red Rogue has minimal graphics and inputs, making it very easy to get into. It's definitely one of the promising dungeon crawler or roguelike flash game I have ever played.

Mutant Alien Assault Game Review

Mutant Alien Assault
Mutant Alien Assault Logo

Play Online: Mutant Alien Assault
Developer: Chris Suffern
Genre: Shooter, Platform

Game Review
Well, I suppose space is a dangerous place and extraterrestrial aliens are attacking the ship. Gather at least ten fuel rods in the reactor core so the ship can perform a hyper jump and escape to survive. Beware that radiation in the reactor room will mutate the aliens in time. Any aliens still on board after the jump will become faster and more powerful. Solution? Destroy them!

I believe this flash game cited its initial inspiration from Super Crate Box. I could spot several similarities in both games. Still, Mutant Alien Assault is a frantic, platform shooter arena. It's filled with guns, aliens and one that must be emphasized, Dubstep! I was shocked and questioned myself why does Dubstep and flash game mixed so well together? I just simply love it. Overall, the gameplay is quite hard, and you die a lot. Even the instructions warn me that too, "If you don’t enjoy a challenge and are reasonably skilled please play something else." ^^

At each level and map, you are required to fend off an endless stream of aliens using randomly dispensed weaponry while attempting to refuel your ship’s reactor core. The reactor's bar filling up and the need to deliver the reactive bars towards it gave the game a steady sense of accomplishment. Each level has enough random elements to have good replay value especially, the random weaponry system frequently presents you with a dilemma: stick with your awesome gun or risk picking up a trashy weapon.

Mutant Alien Assault gameplay will start to smooth out sooner than you expected and you feel like you’re in The Matrix after the second rod. Finally, I'm certain that Mutant Alien Assault is one of the most interesting games out in a while and the kind of game that making it a perfect choice for gamers.

Game Review
Castle Crashing "The Beard" is an incredible and yet short action game, which feature a ridiculously over-the-top arcade boss battle that is well worth your time. This is just one of those flashes that freaking spectacular! What a beautiful idea with an awesome follow through. The object of the game is to play as a Castle Crasher and destroy Tom’s beard before it destroys you. It’s a simple one-versus-one boss battle, you versus the beard. You can either choose to attack at close range, or charge your attack if you have MP and shoot a deadly semi long ranged attack. Each hit earns you some experience points to level up your character, which gives you better attack, combos and a sweet new look.

I have fallen in love the levelling up system, especially the Level Up cinematic left you feeling like you achieved something worthwhile. Overall, the game featured a very well-balanced and easy to understand the mechanics. The difficulty is challenging for me, although the boss AI follows a simple pattern similar to all classic arcade games did. However, dodging some of the attacks require some slight preparation beforehand, making full use of the delays in between.

Deep inside me after I tried this game twice, I'm like "WJ, it's going to be easy. Why am I not beating this?" I constantly repeat to myself: "Just avoid his eye beam and watch for his tongue to stick out for beard attack. He's repetitive and predictable." Eventually, took me 4 rounds to beat it, what a shame! Definitely a good game, it's a flash game that will take you between 5 minutes or an hour. It’s enjoyable for what it is.

Accumulate your combos! The last one... It might be pink but its hella strong! :)

Castle Crashing "The Beard" Guide
Weapons in Castle Crashing "The Beard"

Fire-fighter Axe - Require 250 XP
Spiked Javelin - Require 650 XP
Lollipop Candy - Require 950 Xp

Defeating "The Beard"
To win the game, you want very high combos so that you can level up quickly. First jump onto the higher platform and stick close to him, attack him until you see his beard move, then dodge his attack. When he moves to the side, he will laser the top row, then the bottom row. During this time, attack from bottom, then attack from top. (Note: The middle platform is not high enough to dodge the bottom laser.)

When he exits the top of the screen, he will throw bread down at you. Stand under a platform, then let the bread bounce and dodge after. He also has an attack where he rotates his beard and chases you, although he seems to use it randomly. The skull only has one attack, it will shoot fireballs in all 8 directions on the left, right, then middle of the screen in that order. If you stand on the bumps on the lower levels, his fireballs can't hit you as long as you're not next to him. You can use this time to fully charge your magic. Stay away from his attack, then attack during his cool down period.

Game Review
Ladies and gentlemen, what's going on? It's a lovely but rainy Saturday night. I just played this twisted platform adventure called The Visit. In the game, you are setting out to visit your girlfriend. During your visit, things just happened... Don't ask me why!? I mean, that's how this is supposed to go. :P

It's a very short yet entertaining little game with around 7 different endings depending on the options you choose and the paths you take. I loved the animations because of the simple expressions and I giggled madly at every ending I got. Originally, I thought it was going to be a parody of Mario Bros, as you are going to deal all the dangerous obstacles on your way there to your girlfriend's house. So I started jumping at the bin, mailbox, and the crab! I was wrong, I was mislead by my unconscious. I felt so bad and guilty killing the crab, as the first one was a complete accident. I am really impressed at how this turned out to be and totally love the humor.

One thing, I sure learned is that crabs are living things too. You should never jump and kill it. Overall, it is a fairly captivating flash game; I enjoyed it, especially in seeing just how evil I could be. Trust me, you will never know how ridiculously silly and cute until you track all the endings down, when it probably only going to take you less than ten minutes. A well made game.

Robin Steele Game Review

Game Review
Robin Steele. Who says crime doesn't pay? Becoming a millionaire is a dream for everyone, including Robin Steele! Stealing is a hobby, and become a millionaire is a dream. Master Thief knows only one way to get there a crooked way. He's already got a target now, how much money he should get? He is determined and will not stop until his dream is achieved.

Robin Steele is a 3-lane platform type of flash game. If you don't know what that genre is, the game plays fairly straightforward. It's a fairly new type of gameplay, it just consists of you running, jumping, and do whatever the developer wants in a straight line trying to escape from certain destruction. Your entire objective is to grab as much loot as possible before being caught red-handed. A side-note here; Always jump and avoid the pillars and chairs, I got frustrated when 90% of the time I fail to notice those as an obstacle.

Although nothing really feels new, the novelty of the entertaining concept and retro-spy stylization hasn't worn off. In my personal opinion, it is generally a neat game and I liked a lot the music from its generic. The controls are a little clunky, however it can break the flow of the game. Did I mention about the upgrades yet? The upgrades are just right to help you get that addition score. You will be having some fun if you're in the mood for some good platform flash games, Robin Steele is the one you can try on. :)

Lancelost Game Review

Game Review
Lancelost is an excellent pixel style platformer and hyper-puzzle! The developers have made around 40 levels for you to clear, but not to worry. This is the kind of game that is not frustrating instead plenty to admire, especially that most of the more challenging levels have multiple solutions. You will clear with little effort.

The goal of the player is to find the lost lance in order to become the successor of the King. You are playing as knight with no combat abilities. During your adventure, you will face cute but ugly slime, fire wizards, evil boss and spikes that your armor can't even protect you. Here is the good news is you have mages to back you up in your quest. Use their magical powers to gain protective shield, speed, high jump and fly to help you get to the exit of each level.

The game started out kind of slow but it quickly picks up its difficulty after you get your first ability. As you move forward, you will obtain new abilities namely, double jump, dash and smash. The game is designed with time benchmarks, giving the truly hardcore players something to shoot for without making the levels gut-wrenching torture to get through. This is an enjoyable game and one of the best platformers I've played so far.

Give Up Game Review & Walkthrough Guide

Game Review
Failure is inevitable, what are you waiting for? Christmas? Hit that 'Give Up' button and be done with all this. Just give up playing this game. There is no need for you to finish the game. I wouldn't be impressed either way. Wait, don't! I am just kidding. You should at least try a few floors first before hitting the button. Haha!

Give up is a single screen jumping platformer. It is both hardcore and deadly. You will face spikes everywhere, loose platforms, lasers, saws and more. You are supposed to dodge all attacks and charge your way through till you reach the gray elevator safe and sound. They are 40 insane levels waiting for you. Each level builds upon the level before it, so it's impossible for you can survive within the first try. Not to worry, the hell levels are 1 - 25. I bet most of you will cry after that! You will either fall to your death or get shot down by the turrets without you knowing.

The whole, 'Give Up' idea is really cleverly portrayed in the flash game; Progressively getting more difficult till you feel like giving up. It does live up to its name and it's cruel. And I like how the computer annoys you every level and trying to convince you to give up by pressing the big blue give up button at the button of the game. Or maybe you should follow... Hitting the blue button isn't at all bad after all. I am certain you won't regret it.

Oh! By the way, I beat the game with 220 deaths at 22mins. Can you do better than me? :P

Give Up Guide

Give Up Logo

Solutions to Give Up
Levels 1 - 5: Learn controls, maybe turn down quality to avoid input errors if your computer isn't beastly.
Levels 6 - 9: Make long double jumps to cross the levels in 2 double jumps.
Level 10: Things start to pick up here. Double jump to land on the safe platform, then double jump between the spikes to avoid a chunk of the level. Straightforward from there.
Levels 11 - 13: Once both double jumps are performed, the right side of the higher part of the L-on-it's-back is a safe zone. Chill there to recuperate. Level 13 requires less dawdling.
Level 14 - 15: These are annoying because the fall sometimes prevents you from getting your jump. Fall to safety, perform level as usual. Starting from 15, jump up high to fall fast down to the exit, its safer.
Level 16 - 17: Safe zone isn't safe anymore.
Level 18 - 20: Keep calm and ride the falling platforms at the end, you'll be fine... you might need to jump once near the start, but after that just chill out and trust.
Level 21 - 24: Easy peasy. Lasers pretty much just mean you can't backtrack. Move confidently, but don't go ahead of yourself, because you can't move backward.
Level 25: This one is tricky because the lasers at the halfway point require you to be very precise. Do a very light double jump to get to the falling platforms, don't botch the end, and you're fine.
Level 26: Notice the scaling platforms... you'll be climbing these for a few levels, so remember them well. Very short double jumps will get you up the first two, regular jumps will get you up the last two.
Level 27 - 29: Just fall and run right, climb platforms, done. Pace yourself so that you can get by the saw... you'll be using that pace a lot. 28-29 are the same, just more intimidating.
Level 30: The keys here are to use a very short midair jump over the fast moving diagonal blade, and to wait on the last platform before the door so you don't commit suicide at the end.
Level 31: Use the high path - the two single blocks that are very high, and the last platform before the door.
Level 32: Can't use the high path for this one. Standard low path tactics EXCEPT: Scoot a little slowly off the starting platforms, and then push hard right into the invisible wall, you can make it by just as the horizontal blade there moves to the left of you. Then standard low path.
Level 33: From this point on take the high path. This is probably the hardest level in the game. Time your jumps so that the bullets miss you, stopping on all three high path platforms, and pray you can dodge bullets and make it to the exit from the last one.
Level 34-37: High path and laugh. The last platform is actually protected, so you can take a nap there. Jump timings are different based on gun locations, and avoid spikes by moving fast (hold right!).
Level 38-39: Wonky spike dodging here. There is an invisible platform just below the horizontal saw below the last platform. When the saw starts heading left, hop down, go beneath the dropping spikes, and hop up to finish. 39 is the same, except the spikes go up.
Level 40: Same as the last two, but more hectic. Hold right, time jumps, run under spikes (go a little extra to the right!), and jump up to win the game.
