Family Rush Walkthrough
Family Rush is a short and sweet little flash game. Beat it in about 30 minutes, pretty straightforward. All you need do is focus your hard earned coins on getting 3 Health upgrades first then all on the damage. It will be an easy win without much struggle. I didn't even need to max all the characters to win. Upgrade Daddy, Mother, Grandpa, Sparky and Grandma accordingly first. The Daddy and Grandpa are the only two mouse controlled characters, the rest all controlled by computer. So during the gameplay, try to shoot the enemies that appear first with your mouse controlled characters. These enemies will tend to do damage to your characters if you don't kill them within a certain number of seconds. And during boss fight, the boss can summon his creatures. Always clear these enemies first as they will soon cluster and do damage to your characters fairly quickly with no mercy. You will not have enough time to response after they start to attack you.

Fatal Fighters Game Review & Walkthrough Guide

Fatal Fighters
Fatal Fighters Logo

Play Online: Fatal Fighters
Developer: Deqaf Studio
Genre: Puzzle, Strategy

Game Review
Deqaf Studios latest flash game is called Fatal Fighters! It serves up as a belend of match-3 puzzle and turn-based fighting game. Simple, yet solid! You choose from seven heroes each with unique special abilities, then face your opponent across a board with different coloured stones. Clicking a stone causes it and any other adjacent matching stones to be added to the percentage chance of the corresponding coloured skill. You have four moves to match your stones, then you can try to use the skills your character has available. The chance of success is tied to how many matching coloured tiles you accrued during your turn. Unused abilities will roll their percentage over to the next round, so don't feel like you have to risk a ten percent chance of success.

You will fight back and forth like this, whittling away at each other's defenses and hit points. Winning and you'll move on to your next foe. Outwit and out-battle your foes in the most dangerous, mortal combat. Only the the strongest the luckiest will survive this fatal tournament! If you collect enough achievements, you can unlock a totally different character. In my opinion the gameplay is really fun, although so far it hasn't been very challenging. I still enjoy it a lot!

I've noticed a lot of games coming up in the recent year with the concept of matching gemstones but Fatal Fighters took to a new levels with the option to keep your collected gemstones for the next round. This added a new level of strategy and I was really impressed! Keep up to good work! Very creative. Other games like this tend to be overly complicated, trying to do too much, but this only took a few minutes to understand. The sprite work is really nice and the music is cool.

Fatal Fighters Walkthrough
Keitaro
When playing Keitaro, you should try to end the match as quick as possible because he can be taken down within rounds. He is one of the best full attacking fighter however has no defending skills. He can do a raw damage of 48 damage per round which is the highest among all the fighters, and weakest fighter giving 11 armor His first ability is damage enemy 10-22 damage randomly and the second ability is destroy enemy's armor. Try go for attack and ability stones first then armor. His second ability is very good skill, but use only when the enemy has casted armor onto himself. Or else you are still wasting this ability potential. Good player will take good advantage of this skill.

Misty
Misty has quite a number of disables. His first ability deal 16 damage and remove 100% of enemy's attack. Second skill is disable enemy from attacking for one round. Both skills are very powerful. If you pull this combination correctly, you can almost disable your enemy from attacking you for almost 2 rounds, then you slowly charge up your combos again and repeat. This ability combo is good but take note that is if the fighter has ability that can do damage or reduce your skill points, you will need to stack armor first. Once you stack enough armor, you can slowly perform this overpower disable again and again.

Mythril
Mythril is not the best but is an average fighter in my opinion. He has pretty decent stats of 24 attack and 13 armor. His ability is kinda strong as removes enemy's armor by 100% and deal 16 damage when casted. Simply stack matching stones for the first ability and your attack to full 100%, then cast ability first and attack. It can hurt quite a bit especially those fighters with high armor such as potent. When you are low on health, cast your second ability to heal 11 HP. The heal is not a lot but it can sustain you on the match longer when the combos is right.

Potent
Some may debate this as the worst fighter, but i think this fighter is quite impressive and my favorite to be honest. His damage is only 19 and armor 18, second lowest damage but second highest armor. His abilities has synergy to its active attack and armor. His first ability deals damage to your armor, meaning the more armor you stack the stronger this ability is going to hurt. Normally, there are rounds where enemies don't attack, use this window to stack your armor. Then his second ability is increase chance of attack to 100%! This is equal to a free attack without fail. If you already successfully performed an attack earlier on, you can use this ability then attack enemy again. He can attack a total of 3 times in one turn! The damage is good but a little hard to use when your stones are not really good.

Hammer
Hammer is the only fighter which has the ability to gain two additional moves next round. This two moves is very beneficial if you aren't very good at matching stones. The two moves can significantly increase your chances of performing the skills later on. The stats of this fighter is above average, attack 20 armor 17. The first ability is the similar to Mythril's first ability but weaker; dealing 11 damage and reduce 50% armor only. Still, it is good to have!

Muzzle
Muzzle is kind of weak for his ability in my opinion. His first ability damage 8 to enemy and heal 8 to himself. This is very weak compared to the rest that do more damage or has better ability. Then his second ability remove one move from enemy next round, which means instead of 4 enemies now only have 3 moves to play with. I don't really love this skill as you have no control over what enemies is doing. Sometimes the enemies still can match the stones and combos you well enough to defeat you. I have the hardest time killing enemy using my attack and first ability.

Cutter
Cutter is a not bad if you want to unlock him. He has pretty standard stats 23 attack damage and 14 armor. The first ability bypass enemy armor and do 16 damage. Very good when enemies is stacking armor and the damage is decent. The second ability is randomly reduce enemy's skills points by a total of 150%. This is one awesome ability to have but there is one drawback... Enemies do not always have 150% skill points to let you reduce. Most of the time, I only get to reduce 40-60%. It is very hard to be in that situation where you get to reduce all 150%, this is one of the trouble i face using this fighter.

Tokimac
Tokimac is the last fighter in the Fatal Fighters. His stats is really low on the scale; 18 damage and 19 armor. The only fighter with better armor than attack. His abilities are pretty decent. The first one deal 7 damage and enemy cannot use armor in the next turn. This is one good ability to have to stop any fighter from gaining armor. Then the second ability is double your current attack; Double of 18 is 36! You will deal 36 raw damage to enemy. Not a bad ability to have but it is best to have your attack chances to at 100% before using this ability. Or you will rage if it fails to attack.

Help Fund My Computer And Expenses

Help Fund My Computer And Expenses Logo

Guys!

I need your help! Anyone who knows me knows I do a majority of my work on the computer and my laptop has already begun to show its age and struggles to work with me. I used them in Photoshop, Video Rendering & Gaming; These applications are very CPU & GPU consuming. Between random shutdowns, overheating and BSOD, my graphics card suddenly died on me as much as I wish it didn't. Without a computer now, it is going to be difficult to update and keep track my website. Replacement is my only option, and I need them badly.

I don't come from a very wealthy family, and I'm still serving my National Service in Singapore. Every month, I'm given an allowance of $480. This undeniably tight allowance is just enough to settle my monthly phone bills, transportation and food expenses. I do not have enough savings to get a new desktop which I need. If I could get a new computer, I am looking forward to do more than what I could do previously. Like I could start playing a wider range of games, which I can produce even newer and fresher contents & articles for the website. I can even try out streaming to reach a greater audience and build a community! I've done my research and planning. The money I raise will go towards my new computer which is going to cost about $1900. This new computer is expected to last me 3-4 years effectively and I pledge it will. The other $100 is to maintain my website's domain and subscription for Imageshack. Full breakdown is below:

Computer
- CPU & MOBO: $480
- Fan: $100
- GPU: $500
- RAM: $120
- HDD: $120
- Case: $60
- PSU: $100
- ODD: $20
- SSD: $150
- Monitor: $250

Expense
- Web domain: $10 (Yearly)
- Imageshack $40 (Yearly)

Thank you for reading, I'm doing this humbly and with the utmost gratitude. Every dollar and cents will bring me even closer to realize my dream and I appreciate any contribution. I really do! Do also help me share this post.

Doodle Brigade Game Review & Walkthrough Guide

Doodle Brigade
Doodle Brigade Logo

Play Online: Doodle Brigade
Developer: Aleksander Suvak
Genre: Defense, Strategy

Game Review
Oh no! The Doodle Domain is under siege from hordes of the undead and other creatures. Repel the approaching zombies and monsters with a stick-army of your own, soldiers, full of snipers, bombers, mines and more. It's up to you to save the day in this fun tower defense game. As you progress through the levels, you will unlock newer and stronger units to aid you along the way. This is Aleksander Suvak's Doodle Brigade.

Certainly not the best tower defense game but one of the better ones on the internet. This flash game reminds me a lot of the legendary Plants vs. Zombie on first impression. If you're a fan of it, then you will love this version too. The lane-based tower defense is very familiar while still putting things in its own spin. One interesting feature is its degree of flexibility in customizing your field especially upgrades and enhancements for your units. Every offensive unit you place starts out on the field as a simple, basic soldier, with a slow rate of fire and a low damage output. As you progress, earning more "inks", you get to upgrade these units into one of four different paths, each with varying levels of power; Gunner, Shotgunner, Sniper, Bomber. You have to make choices and decide on their specialized roles as soon as things start getting messy. There is a few times where Sniper is better and effective than Gunner, and I restarted that level a few times. Once you chose the right strategy, you can bring out their full potential, which makes the individual units feel more valuable and encourages you to protect them better.

While Doodle Brigade is a rather short with 10 stages with endless mode, it is consider well done for such simple and addictive flash game. Slick graphics, easy control, great gameplay! I did enjoyed it right up until the 'final' stage. The game then brings in a whole new mechanic, the invincible eraser monster, that will quickly whittle down your defenses. Then the squid boss comes up, it's gameover every single time. Seems unfair but possible! Check out my guide below.

Vectagon Game Review

Vectagon

Play Online: Vectagon
Developer: Ataxkt
Genre: Distance

Game Review
Vectagon is a fast paced twitch-heavy runner game crafted for the hardcore audience. This is one of those kind of games that makes your eyeballs feel like they're being forcibly twisted against your will while still in their sockets. According to its developer, been inspired by Rez, Dyad and F-Zero. Vectagon is a simple, engaging game. You'll go in thinking you'll play a short game, but soon find yourself repeating the same level at least a couple of dozen times, quickly jabbing at the screen to restart after cursing loudly from the ridiculous mistake you just made.

Vectagon is one of a rare breed of games, and what makes Vectagon such an addictive experience is its simplicity and incredibly difficulty. If you've played Super Hexagon, you understand the sort of game. You’re driving through a tunnel, and you have to move to the left and right to dodge walls that it throws up. As you go, more edges to the tunnel are added, and it gets much more difficult to manoeuvre the ship you’re in. The overall goal is to last as long as possible without getting crushed between two walls while you're zig-zagging your way through the endless tunnel. The controls are surprisingly responsive and silky smooth, but not my reaction time.

It can be frustrating and punishing for those who are not good enough, while rewarding those who master it with a supreme sense of satisfaction. But each playthrough is worth it though, as just breaking your own personal record by a second! It will test your reflexes, patience and endurance just to survive 20 seconds in the gentlest of its modes and possibly hours of training before you can go for a 30 seconds maybe? If you’re a fan of hard runner games, I recommend putting this on a watch list.

Castle Knight Walkthrough
Castle Knight is a mix of brawler flash game where you are running (on feet or horse), swing your sword or shoot arrows, take powerups from the princess, collect items from the flying pig and also you can hire helpers on the towers. The game progress quite slowly. But once you start upgrading your sword and other statistics, you are more badass than ever. For me, the first 7 waves were manageable, then I start buying Mage Helpers at wave 8 onwards. Comparing Archer and Mage Helper, I will almost go for Mage as it is designed to hit multiple enemies while Archer is stronger at attacking single monster. It's an investment needed to clear waves faster before they cluster into one. These monsters clustering together can comes in one pack and can hit you real hard; You can dying really fast within seconds. My strategy is change to bow and weaken a few of them first before finishing them off with sword. Use your horse to move from one side to another side. Some may find it useless but the extra movement speed helps me quite a bit. Good luck!

Air War 1941

Genre: Shooter

Game Review
The open skies are your battlefield in this scrolling shooter game. Pilot your fighter plane in Air War 1941 as you engage enemy aircraft in thrilling dog fights, and do everything to control your jet plane. This is a real war, so you must be very attentive and careful; One mistake, and you are dead! Collect coins and medals which you can use to upgrade your plane with new weapons and abilities. win the battle for air superiority.

Air War 1941 is pretty challenging game featuring 10 increasingly challenging levels, I have to admit. This was pretty good for the most part. The controls were smooth and the artwork was good for what it was trying to go for. My only real complaint is the amount of enemies. If this was trying to be a bullet hell game, then I would suggest redoing the coin system, so that they are dropped most by enemies and not the other way around. Or at least add a survival feature and more upgrades. Currently, you spend more time dodging bullets than killing planes because your attack isn't sufficient enough. Other than that, a good game you can complete in less than half hour.

Air War 1941 Guide

Life - Adds a unit of health.

Explosion - Bullets scatter around the unit.
Cost: 0 / 100 / 250 / 500
Rocket - Shooting missiles at enemies.

Recommended Build for Air War 1941
1. Regeneration

3. Explosion

5. Life

Air War 1941 Walkthrough
Air War 1941 is mostly about dodging enemy's bullets and then finish off the planes with your bullets. It can be quite challenging at times until you get some upgrades, especially once you've gotten Explosion and Rocket upgrades! The game should start feeling a little manageable and easier to complete. Try to spam your explosions as frequent as possible because it has low cooldown. For rockets, I will save it when there is a cluster of planes you can't handle. It's important that you pick up all the powerups, but do not be over excited and soak up too much damage. It is not worth it and die! It just wasting your effort. Slowly and steady, keep a good lookout for bullets then pick up the powerups.
